About Deep Parmar
Deep Parmar is an AI engineer in Ahmedabad, India — CTO & co-founder of Sunbots Innovations, founder of Xwits, and creator of SmartON, AI-powered smart glasses used by 17,000+ blind and visually-impaired users.

Deep has been building AI products since 2019 — not demos or slideware, but systems that ordinary people use every day. His work spans assistive technology, computer vision on the edge, browser-native AI, and the production infrastructure that keeps large language models reliable in the real world.
He holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Gujarat Technological University and works from Ahmedabad, Gujarat — building AI for India first, and for the world from there.
Sunbots Innovations & SmartON
Deep co-founded Sunbots Innovations at 23 and serves as its CTO. Sunbots builds AI-driven products for enterprises and consumers, and is the company behind SmartON — AI-powered smart glasses and a companion app that give blind and visually-impaired users independence. SmartON reads printed text aloud, identifies currency notes, describes scenes, and answers questions by voice in 50+ languages. Its multilingual assistant, MIRA, routes every spoken request across object detection, OCR, document search, and scene understanding. More than 17,000 people use it today.
Xwits — AI products for business
As founder and director of Xwits Developers, Deep ships a suite of AI products that run day-to-day operations for businesses from nano to enterprise: XwFin (GST invoicing and tax intelligence used by 2,000+ Indian businesses, ₹50Cr+ invoiced), Marketing Autopilot (brand-aware AI that creates and publishes marketing content across channels), and skibdrip (a personal AI stylist app whose Mirror builds today's complete look from clothes you already own — formerly Cultuss). See the full list on the projects page.
Open source — Dhiya NPM
Deep is the creator of Dhiya NPM, an open-source client-side RAG framework that runs retrieval-augmented generation entirely in the browser — WebGPU inference, IndexedDB vector storage, no server and no API keys. The chatbot on this site runs on it.
Writing
Deep writes regularly about prompt engineering, context engineering, harness engineering, browser AI, and building AI products in India — 78+ articles and counting.
